Hey! I'm back from my trip to Vancouver last week and I had a fabulous time enjoying all the culture there-- saw 2 plays at Bard on the Beach, Grease at Theatre in the Park and even went to a concert in Linden, WA. I'm getting back in the groove of things here in Williams Lake and am thrilled to mention here that we're taking part of some local art culture right here in Williams Lake-- Art Walk!
If you're not familiar with the program I'll give you a little summary... various businesses around town are displaying artwork from a variety of local artists. {We're thrilled to be featuring art by Karyn Gartel- a mixed media artist who happens to also be a customer of ours.} People are invited to purchase a passport for $3.00 (we've got a few at the store here, if you need one) which gives details on all the participating artists and businesses. Until Sept 1, you can walk around to the businesses, check out the featured art and get your passport stamped. When you have collected all your stamps, you can drop off your stamping page and be entered in a draw for some fantastic prizes.
